A moment ago, we received a final confirmation from the Industry Canada Bureau. Our Smart Beacon is now IC certified for consumer use anywhere!
It’s our fourth certification for the Smart Beacon. It’s been already approved to operate within USA (FCC certificate), most of the EU countries (CE certificate), and Japan. The new certification brings new opportunities in Canada and beyond, because the CE certificate is also respected by the International Telecommunication Union, that gathers 193 state members from around the world. This dramatically increases the reach of beacon technology.
We’re excited to see next countries joining the world’s beacon network and we can’t wait to see great use cases emerging there!
